The Old Horse is a classic pub — warm, welcoming, and open to all. We serve a carefully curated selection of ales, craft beers, ciders, and, of course, an impeccable pint of Guinness.
The Garden
More than just a beer garden
In addition to our front patio overlooking London Road and Victoria Park, The Old Horse is home to Leicester’s largest beer garden and terrace. Comfortably furnished for lazy summer days, the garden includes its own bar, a German-inspired street food offering during busy periods, and a dedicated Jersey whipped ice cream kiosk.
We also have our own pétanque (French boules) pitch, which you can book for games by emailing our team.
